I don't have wads of money but I want to buy a used small metal lathe that I can afford. I am looking at getting this 190 21270 but I have read reviews and they're telling me that its not all that great while others say you can get by on it. I want to use it to make key ways on let's say 1" shafts, some threading and just small stuff. Is the investment of $200 a waste or should I go for it? Has anybody on this forum used one or have an opinion on this?
